Independence Community College could not find the consistency and fell to visiting Northeastern Oklahoma A&M 3-1 (23-25, 20-25, 25-18, 20-25) tonight despite a career high from freshman Mar Danes with 17 kills. Sophomore Patricia Seller added 15 kills on the night for her 2nd straight match with 15 or more kills for the Pirates. Sophomore Hannia Rios led the offense with 40 assists while adding 4 kills and 11 digs for her 2nd consecutive double-double and 3rd of the season. Freshman Kalia Porter, coming off a career high in digs, topped her own high with a new career high with 27 digs to lead the defense that had 3 players record 10 or more digs on the night.
