Coach Kayla played two years at Central Methodist University. Afterward, she moved to Florida and coached high school girls' basketball for five years. As the Head Assistant for Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida, Kayla coached the Cougars to back-to-back State Championship Finals appearances in 2021 and 2022. She also served as a travel basketball coach in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for several years.
