On Saturday night, the Lady Pirates headed into the Seward County Saints house having nothing to lose. The Lady Pirates played their hearts and gave the Lady Saints a scare during their homecoming night. The Lady Pirates were lead by Sophomore Jaynee Alston who finshed with 16 points, while going 4-6 behind the arc that night. Not only did Alston help, but freshman Alek Akuen gathered 14 rebounds and 14 points to help out as well. With the Lady Pirates having a career high 18 assist in the game, they fell just short to the Saints 78-70. 

The Lady Pirates head back out on the road for conference as they travel to Dodge City. Tip is set for 6:00pm.
