The Lady Pirates came out Wednesday night on fire, shooting the ball from the field. With #4 in the country Seward County in the house, the Lady Pirates knew they needed to have a great game to compete with them and have a chance to win. Well the Lady Pirates came out the first half shooting 50% behind the 3pt. arc. Into the second half, the Lady Pirates didnt have enought steam in the engine to surpass the Saints falling 86-69. The team was led by Sophomore Jaynee Alston with 18 points and Freshman Sena Aktas with 16 points. 

The Lady Pirates are back in action Saturday night as they welcome in the Dodge City Conqs. Game time is set for 4pm at the Field House.
