Matthew Simpson is originally from Caney, KS, and is entering his third season as a member of the football coaching staff and his second season as the Head Coach of the Powerlifting Team
Simpson was on the powerlifting team at Coffeyville Community College, then transferred to Wichita State University on a rowing scholarship. He also played football at Simpson College in Indianola, IA, but played lacrosse at Kansas State University to finish his college career.
Simpson worked as a high school football scout for Prep Redzone before coming to Indy. He primarily focused on the Wichita metro area, as well as Southeast Kansas
Coach Simpson helped Kansas State achieve their first conference championship in Lacrosse in at least 20 years.
Simpson is excited to help show love to a school that he grew up 20 minutes down the road from. He has been involved in several sports and athletics for his entire life, and wants to use that experience to help mentor guys and bring them up to be the best versions of themselves.
