Bobbye Hill is a proud son of Mr. Ray C. Hill & Mrs. Bobbie L. Hill and originally from Tyler, Texas (the Rose Capital of the world). I graduated from John Tyler High School; I was very involved in athletics (football, basketball & baseball). With multiple opportunities to play college sports, I decided to “walk on” as an unsigned basketball prospect & attended Tyler Junior College. The transition from high school to college (academically & athletic) was an adjustment. After two years, through commitment and a great support system, not only did I graduate with an associate degree, but I was recognized as an All-American. As a result, I received over 20 full-ride scholarship offers. After prayerful consideration and wise counsel, I chose Austin Peay State University over Washington State University, Florida International University, Eastern Kentucky University, Sam Houston State University, and several others.
As a coach at player development specialist, Bobbye Hill has helped hundreds of players to accomplish their dreams to showcase their talents at the college and professional level. Coach Hill, was nominated and select as the "TCAL Coach of the Year" in 2022 while coaching at RWG Stem Academy. For the last 7 years Coach Bobbye has been selected as "Trainer of the Year" for Lessons.com
