Indy Pirates Volleyball Wins All-Conference Awards

Two student-athletes from Independence Pirates Volleyball were recognized this season with All-Conference honors, as awarded by the KJCCC.

Sophomore outside hitter Tylor Iosua was named Second-Team All-Conference. Iosua led the entire Jayhawk Conference this season in both total kills and kills per set. She tallied 484 total kills and 4.32 kills per set, helping the Pirates to a total 17 wins this season. Her kills per set also ranked eighth nationally. Her total kills ranked thirteenth nationally.

Freshman outside hitter Kalolaine Pasikala was also awarded with Honorable Mention recognition for her performance this season. Pasikala was one of the conference’s best in solo blocks and total attacks.

The Pirates finished the year with a 18-12 overall regular season record, tied for fourth place in the final conference standings.
