Lady Pirates Fall To Cougars To Close Out Conference Play

GREAT BEND, Kan. - The Independence Lady Pirates closed out conference play traveling to take on the Barton Cougars. The match was very competitive, but Independence fell to the Cougars in straight sets (17-25, 22-25, 26-28). 

The Lady Pirates finish sevenths in the West Division Conference.

Independence (8-19, 5-11) closes out the regular season Monday traveling just up the road to take on the Coffeyville Red Ravens with first serve set for 6:30 pm.
