Wednesday night the Lady Pirates were looking to extend their winning streak as they hosted Garden City Broncobusters to the field house. They kicked off and was a tight run from the get go, but the Lady Pirates were able to keep a few point lead throughout the first half leading 27-25 at halftime. The Lady Pirates came out the second half and contained the lead til the fourth quarter when Garden City took a 44-41 with four minutes left in the contest. With some big 3's from Erica Moore and Jaynee Alston, the Lady Pirates regained the lead and kept ahold of it and won 54-46. With that win it split the contest between the two teams. 

The Lady Pirates were lead by Freshman Erica Moore with 17 points, who was the only one in double figures for the night. The Lady Pirates continue their conference run as they travel to Butler County on Saturday night. The tip is set for 5:30pm.
