Saturday night the Lady Pirates took on Dodge City Conqs. Coming in to this contest the Lady Pirates had just dropped a tough game Wednesday night against the #4 Seward Saints. Lady Pirates came out Saturday and fought their way through the game. They outlasted the Conqs who they never could get rid of as the final was 52-49. The Lady Pirates were lead by Freshman Alek Akuen with 14 points and 17 rebounds. 

The Lady Pirates are back in action next Wednesday as they travel out west to Hutchinson, KS to take on the Blue Dragons. Game time is set for 5:30pm.
