The Lady Pirates sure didn't make it easy on themselves Saturday night, but they came out with a win. The Lady Pirates beat Allen County 60-48. With this win, it breaks the 5 game losing skid that the Pirates have been apart of. Saturday night was a great win for the Pirates as they head into Christmas break. The Lady Pirates were lead by Sophomore JayNee Alston with 17 points and Freshman Elif Sena Aktas who when 5 of 9 from the 3-point line to add 15 points. The Lady Pirates had a huge rebounding night from Freshman Alek Akuen who brought down 16 boards in the contest. 

The Lady Pirates are back in action in the New Year. They will face St. Mary's on Janurary 2nd, 2017. Tip-off is set for 6:00pm.
