The no. 3 seed Independence Community College Pirates defeated no. 2 seed Hutchinson Community College Dragons on Tuesday, March 7 to advance to the Region VI Championship Game for the first time since 2012. They will meet the winner of no. 1 Seward/no. 2 Cowley at 5:00 pm, Wednesday at Hartman Arena in Park City, KS.
