Pirates Fall Hard In Season Opener

Ottumwa, Iowa – In the opening weekend, the Independence Pirates faced the Marshalltown Tigers Friday in the Indian Hills Classic. The Pirates played well at first, but miscommunications and inconsistency would cost them in a big way, falling to the Tigers by a score of 94-73.  

Independence (0-1) returns to the Indian Hills Classic tomorrow night to take on the Indian Hills Warriors with tipoff at 7 pm.
