The Pirates got off to a fast start, scoring 13 first quarter points. However, Iowa Central fought back and took the lead in the 3rd quarter, 17-13, before Indy took control and the lead in final quarter. Iowa Central scored late on an acrobatic catch, but the Pirates got the ball after a failed onside kick attempt and gained the first downs needed to run out the clock.
