Erica Cope has over 20 years of cheer experience. She is the current head coach for both Independence Community College and Independence High School and the founder of the Indy Youth Cheerleading program. She cheered at Avila University before transferring to Missouri Southern State University to finish her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Additionally she holds a Master of Science degree in Family Studies and Human Services, specializing in Youth Development.
